Who We Are
A few of us were tired of jumping between servers that either had no standards or were so badly run that nothing ever felt real. We wanted a Houston server. Not just a generic city with a Houston skin slapped on it, but something that actually felt like the place. The departments, the geography, the way things actually work in Harris County.
So we built it. THI started small and has stayed that way on purpose. Every new member goes through a process before they ever spawn in and that's not changing.
It's a law enforcement RP server, whitelisted, set in Houston. We've got five active departments: Houston PD, Harris County Constable, Harris County Sheriff's Office, TXDPS, and Game Warden. Each one has its own leadership, its own SOPs, and its own culture. They're not just copies of each other with different names.
Access comes through our community Discord first. You're not getting on the server by finding an IP somewhere. You come through the proper channels, you apply, and if you're a good fit you get whitelisted. That process exists so that everyone on the server actually wants to be there for the right reasons.
Minging, trolling, RDM, VDM. None of that flies here. If you're here to mess around you're in the wrong place and you won't last long.
IC can get intense and that's fine, that's RP. OOC is a different story. Everyone gets treated like a person out of character.
Every department has written procedures. You're expected to actually read and follow them, not just wing it and hope nobody notices.
Roster spots don't stay open forever for inactive people. We get that life happens, just communicate. Disappearing without a word gets your spot pulled.
If something happens, bring it to staff through the right channel. Public drama accomplishes nothing and makes the community worse for everyone.
Sound like somewhere you'd fit?
